 A student is missing from my course roster or they say my course does not appear on their portfolio account:

 

This problem can easily be solved by the instructor using the following instructions:  
  1. Login to the portfolio system.
  2. Select the Course Roster option for the appropriate course.
  3. View the list of names and WKU IDs. If there is an ID and a Name - then the student is associated with the course AND has registered in the Portfolio System. If there is an ID WITHOUT a Name - the the student is associated with the course but HAS NOT registered in the Portfolio System .
  4. If the ID does not on the course roster list, type on the 800 number (8xxxxxxxx) into the ADD/DELETE Student box and press the INSERT button.  The ID will appear on the list and the student's name will appear if they have registered in the Portfolio System.
  5. Have all students Register in the Portfolio System if they have not done so.  This will give us there information and let them establish a password.
  6. If the students forget their password, they can look under the Student Help option and there is an online form to get it reset.
